About this Role

  • Take responsibility for agreed learning activities under a system of supervision to complement teachers.
  • Monitor pupils and assess, record, and report on pupils’ achievement, progress, and development as agreed with teachers.
  • Plan, prepare, and deliver learning activities for individuals, small groups, or on a short‑term basis for whole classes.
  • Collaborate with external therapists and specialists (e.g., occupational therapists, physiotherapists) to implement and embed therapy programmes and recommendations consistently across the school.
  • Support pupils’ therapeutic development by assisting in sessions such as hydrotherapy and rebound therapy, while maintaining clear communication between staff teams to ensure high‑quality, coordinated provision.

A successful candidate will hold an enhanced DBS check, including the barred list, and will adhere to the Safeguarding Policy and other required procedures.
