Job Description:

Teaching Assistant – Oasis Academy Brislington, Bristol

Salary: OCL Grade 4 SCP 7-11 pro‑rata term‑time only (£26,403 – £28,142); Actual Salary: £20,973 – £22,354.

Role: Part‑time, 34.17 hours per week over 5 days.

Contract: Term‑time only. Start date: 1 September 2026 or sooner.

Closing Date: Tuesday 16th June 2026 at 9 am.

Responsibilities

The successful candidate will provide holistic support to the students they work with, including learning support, emotional and well‑being support, and communication and interaction support.

They will work closely with the highly experienced SENDCo and Specialist Lead TA to secure parity of achievement for SEND learners and support our ‘unapologetically ambitious’ curriculum.

Qualifications & Requirements

The ideal candidate will be a committed, passionate individual who wants to improve the life chances of students in Bristol, a great team player, and able to work collaboratively to enhance opportunities for students.

Experience as a teaching assistant and a commitment to supporting students with special educational needs and disabilities is essential.
