West Coventry Academy is seeking to appoint a highly organised, friendly and efficient Administrative Assistant to join our school office team. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the day-to-day running of the school office and will often be the first point of contact for parents, visitors and staff. We are looking for someone who is professional, approachable and able to manage a range of administrative tasks in a busy school environment. To provide administrative support to the school leadership and office team.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as a first point of contact for parents, visitors and telephone enquiries.
- Maintain accurate pupil records and school databases.
- Support communication and general office systems.
- Assist with school communications, letters and correspondence.
- Support the wider school team with administrative tasks as required, contributing to the smooth running of the school and working as part of a dedicated and friendly team.
Key Requirements / Qualifications
- Strong organisational and administrative skills.
- Confident using IT systems and Microsoft Office applications.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Can work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times.
