Deliver smiles, backed by Amazon. To become a delivery driver, you will need a valid UK driving licence, an iPhone or Android smartphone, and a mid‑size vehicle with 5 seats or larger. You will also need a UK National Insurance Number, proof of your Right to Work in the UK, commercial vehicle insurance (also referred to as ‘hire and reward’ insurance) and pass a background and criminal record check, which includes a review of driving licence records. No previous experience as a transportation driver, truck or lorry driver, taxi driver, courier driver or delivery driver is necessary. Current Amazon employees are not eligible to be delivery partners.

If Amazon Flex later introduces blocks for scooters or other alternative modes of transportation, different rates may apply. We aim to ensure the number of packages you are assigned to deliver within your block is realistic, taking into account congestion and safety. However, the actual time per delivery may vary, so earnings per hour may vary.
