Operational Trainer – Polypipe Building Services

Polypipe Building Services, part of the Genuit Group, is seeking a proactive and engaging Operational Trainer to support our operational leaders in creating an engaged, skilled and high‑performing workforce.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver engaging and practical training sessions for new and existing employees – ensuring safe working practices and schedules align with operational needs.
  • Facilitate site inductions, including full site tours.
  • Track and report completed training, briefings, and inductions through the digital skills matrix.
  • Monitor trainee progress and capability development, identify and address barriers, and provide constructive feedback.

Skills & Experience

  • Proven experience delivering training in an operational environment.
  • Excellent communication and facilitation skills; confident presenting to groups.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365.
  • Strong organisational, time‑management and prioritisation skills; able to work independently.
  • Commitment to a positive and inclusive learning experience.
  • Willingness to develop own skills in training delivery and operational knowledge.

Working Hours & Benefits

  • Monday to Friday – 37.5 hours per week, with flexible start/finish times; occasional early morning or late evening work may be required.
