To help customers through the sales process & develop new sales opportunities. Their duties include answering customer queries, delivering after-sales information and updating customer records.
Core Duties & Responsibilities:
- Order entry
- Developing new sales opportunities using outbound cold emails, cold calls & lead follow-ups
- Communicating with customers to understand their needs and requirements and identify sales opportunities
- Creating quotations and following up on quotations
- Keeping up to date with product and service information and competitor offers Upselling products and services
- Tracking orders and investigating delivery delays/missed deliveries for customers waiting on products
- Answering questions from existing customers with missing products or quality issues
- Processing customer sales, credits and returns/replacements
- Performing data entry duties with regards to sales figures, metrics and other key data
- Updating customer records with new contact details and notes on support interactions
- Referring complex cases to Client Director
- Making follow-up contact to inform customers of new or improved products
