Job Summary
SEND Teaching Assistant Level 3 – to support children with special educational needs. Fixed term, to start 1 September 2026 until 31 August 2027 initially, with possible extension subject to need.
35 hours a week, 8:30am-4pm, term-time only.
Key Responsibilities
- Work under the instruction and guidance of teaching/senior staff and the Special Educational Needs Leader (SENDCO).
- Help improve educational and social inclusion opportunities and outcomes for pupils with a range of special educational needs.
- Undertake work, care and support programmes to enable access to learning for pupils.
- Assist the teacher in the management of pupils in and outside the classroom.
Qualifications and Requirements
An enhanced DBS is required. Two satisfactory references will be taken prior to interview or appointment.
