Yard Operative/Banksman Day Shift

Questech Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Yard Operative/Banksman to join a busy and fast‑paced site operation with one of our well established clients.

Shift Pattern:Monday to Friday, 05 30

Pay Rate:£12.75 per hour

Role Overview:This is a key role within the operation, responsible for guiding inbound and outbound wagons safely around site and carrying out quality checks on incoming materials. Attention to detail, reliability, and a strong work ethic are essential.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely guide vehicles around site
• Conduct quality checks on inbound materials
• Maintain high standards of safety and communication
• Work outdoors in all weather conditions
• Support smooth day‑to‑day site operations

Requirements:

• IT literate
• Comfortable working outdoors all day in varying weather conditions
• Reliable with strong attention to detail
• FLT experience would be advantageous but is not essential

Training:Full Banksman training will be provided.
