We’re currently working with a well-established marina operator on the South Coast who is looking to recruit a Boatyard & Marina Operative to join their team.
This is a varied, hands‑on role offering exposure to all aspects of marina and boatyard operations. Working as part of a small, friendly team, you’ll be involved in boat movements, marina support, customer service, site maintenance, and ensuring the facility is presented to a high standard at all times.
Key Responsibilities
- Assisting with boatyard operations, including boat movements and lifting activities
- Supporting customers on pontoons and within the marina environment
- Providing assistance in the marina office and reception when required
- Carrying out general maintenance and upkeep of the site
- Maintaining high standards of cleanliness, safety, and presentation throughout the marina
About You
- A positive, customer‑focused attitude
- Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team
- Flexible and adaptable to a varied workloadAble to learn and use computer‑based systems
- Previous boating knowledge or experience operating plant machinery would be advantageous, but is not essential as full training can be provided
Additional Information
This role involves working outdoors throughout the year and operates on a shift pattern covering a 7‑day operation. Weekend and bank holiday working will be required on a rota basis.
A full UK driving licence is essential.
