Job Description:

Responsibilities

  • Cleaning bedrooms, bathrooms and communal areas to agreed standards
  • Supporting laundry tasks including washing, drying and organising clothing and linen
  • Replenishing supplies such as toiletries and cleaning materials
  • Following infection prevention and control procedures
  • Using cleaning equipment safely and effectively
  • Reporting maintenance or safety concerns to the appropriate colleague
  • Supporting a clean, comfortable and welcoming environment
  • Working as part of the wider service team

Qualifications

  • Reliable and take pride in maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organisation
  • Comfortable working within established routines while managing your time effectively
  • Basic IT skills required for completing mandatory training; previous cleaning or housekeeping experience is helpful but not essential
  • Must be a member of the Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme or willing to join
  • Must have the right to work in the UK
  • Must respect all aspects of Christian worship
  • Must follow Infection Prevention and Control procedures
  • Must adhere to the SSSC Code of Practice
