Responsibilities
- Cleaning bedrooms, bathrooms and communal areas to agreed standards
- Supporting laundry tasks including washing, drying and organising clothing and linen
- Replenishing supplies such as toiletries and cleaning materials
- Following infection prevention and control procedures
- Using cleaning equipment safely and effectively
- Reporting maintenance or safety concerns to the appropriate colleague
- Supporting a clean, comfortable and welcoming environment
- Working as part of the wider service team
Qualifications
- Reliable and take pride in maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organisation
- Comfortable working within established routines while managing your time effectively
- Basic IT skills required for completing mandatory training; previous cleaning or housekeeping experience is helpful but not essential
- Must be a member of the Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme or willing to join
- Must have the right to work in the UK
- Must respect all aspects of Christian worship
- Must follow Infection Prevention and Control procedures
- Must adhere to the SSSC Code of Practice
