What you will do
- Supporting the Head Bartender in managing day-to-day operations and activities within the Bars ensuring the team deliver an exceptional hosted experience for our members.
- Assuming responsibility of the bar when the Head Bartender is unavailable or not on shift.
- Assisting in supporting and developing the knowledge and skills of Junior Bartenders and Barbacks.
- Liaising between departments and representative of the Bar Department.
- Preparing alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages for our members.
- Participating in the creation of new menus and various beverage offerings.
- Undergoing periodical cocktail spec test and product knowledge when required.
- Ensuring the bar is set up and closed accurately and on time; cleaned, restocked, garnishes and all mise en place and relevant batching prepared and ready on time.
- Informing members and floor teams of our beverage offerings, including any changes to the menus and items out of stock.
- Ensuring all items are served at the right temperature and within the proper glassware and in the correct manner, following closely all Maison Estelle specs for signatures and classics.
- Organising the bar area to streamline drink preparation and inventory.
- Establishing relationships with our members, being aware of their preferences and catering service to those.
- Demonstrating a strong sense of teamwork and camaraderie.
Who we are looking for
- Proven experience on the beverage departments in a luxury / lifestyle multi-outlet food and beverage operation.
- Stays up to date with current beverage trends and best practices.
- Must be able to work flexibly including evenings and weekends due to the operational hours of the club.
- Excellent communication skills and comfortable talking to colleagues, senior management and being front of house building relationships with our members.
- A genuine passion for hospitality and hosting.
