Part-Time Housekeeper/Cook/Lady’s Maid – Central London (WC1X)
An experienced, highly professional Housekeeper/Cook/Lady’s Maid is sought to look after a penthouse apartment for a senior executive based in Central London (WC1X). This position suits a polished and proactive individual with extensive private household experience who takes pride in maintaining exceptionally high standards. The successful candidate will be responsible for all aspects of housekeeping, cleaning, laundry, wardrobe and clothing organisation, together with preparing occasional simple, healthy meals for the principal.
Key Responsibilities
- General housekeeping and cleaning to a high standard
- Laundry, ironing, and wardrobe management
- Clothing and personal item organization
- Preparation of simple, healthy meals
- Running occasional errands
- Ensuring the apartment is maintained in excellent order at all times
Candidate Requirements
- Previous experience and excellent references from private households
- High standards housekeeping and organizational skills
- Positive, professional, and discreet manner
- Proactive, self‑motivated, and able to work independently
- Reliable, trustworthy, and detail‑oriented
Hours
Approximately 20 hours per week, ideally spread across Monday, Wednesday and Friday, although flexibility can be offered to suit the right candidate.
Pay
£25+ gross per hour, depending on experience and suitability.
