We are currently recruiting for a leading engineer business who are seeking to recruit a Senior Fabricator (TIG) this role is a senior position where along side carrying out TIG Fabrication you will be responsible for mentoring junior engineers and apprentices. Core Responsibilities of role:

• To operate TIG welding equipment
• Fabricate parts as per engineer drawings
• Identify fabrication defects and take corrective action promptly.
• Operate all workshop machinery and tools safely and in accordance with company procedures.
• Prioritise workloads and assist supervisors in planning shop workflow.
• Support continuous improvement and enhance turnaround times, quality and team performance.
• Mentor junior fabricators and pipefitters in correct fabrication techniques.

Essential Criteria:

• Previous proven experience in TIG welding (5 years)
• Experience mentoring junior staff and supporting their technical development within a fabrication environment.
• Ideally you will have a Fabrication qualification
