About the role

This role is field‑based, covering a cluster of depots within the Sunderland area. It is a brand new role that gives the successful candidate the opportunity to learn the business before potentially stepping into the role of a Depot Manager when one becomes available. As a Manager Designate you will support a Depot Manager with the day‑to‑day running of the depot and help identify and suggest new opportunities to grow sales.

Key responsibilities

  • Support the Depot Manager with day‑to‑day depot operations.
  • Review the P&L and provide insights.
  • Recruit, train and motivate staff.
  • Lead by example to achieve and exceed sales targets.
  • Build strong working relationships with the local trade.
