Principal BEMS Engineer

Location: England – South West. Employment type: Permanent. Salary: £57,000 – £60,000 plus package.

Role Overview: This principal engineering role focuses on providing superior support, energy engineering, and commissioning for Trend IQVision Systems. A field service role at its core, you will have a keen focus on customer satisfaction and be adept at identifying potential improvement opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

• Delivering top‑notch, client‑centric services
• Owning and managing your customer portfolio
• Spotting and solving operational problems alongside clients
• Proposing improvements, energy savings, upgrades, or repair solutions
• Identifying energy and enhancement projects and opportunities
• Contributing to the team call‑out rota and providing peer support
• Learning and staying updated in the BEMS field, leveraging training opportunities

The Ideal Candidate

• Has primary expertise in Trend, Tridium or EcoStruxure, and knowledge of other legacy systems
• Has previous experience in a customer‑facing role in a field service environment
• Can work autonomously without constant direction
• Holds a full UK driving license
