Location: Reading (hybrid — typically 2–3 days on-site in the Thames Valley, easy reach from Wokingham, Bracknell, Slough, Oxford and West London)
Salary: £55,000 – £75,000 DOE + bonus + benefits
Type: Permanent, full-time

About the role
Henley Morgan is partnering with an established NetSuite practice based in the Thames Valley that is expanding its technical delivery capability. They are looking for a NetSuite Technical Consultant / Developer to take ownership of customisations, integrations and platform extensions across a portfolio of mid‑market customers in finance, services and product‑led businesses. You will work alongside functional consultants from scoping through to go‑live and beyond, translating business requirements into clean, maintainable SuiteCloud solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Design and build SuiteScript 2.x customisations (User Event, Client, Scheduled, Map/Reduce and Suitelet scripts) and Workflows to extend core NetSuite functionality. Develop and maintain integrations between NetSuite and surrounding systems (CRM, e‑commerce, WMS, payment gateways and BI tools) using RESTlets, SOAP/REST web services and middleware where appropriate. Manage deployments through the SuiteCloud Development Framework (SDF), source‑controlled in Git, and contribute to release governance across sandbox and production accounts. Provide technical leadership during implementation phases, including data migration scripting, performance tuning, error‑handling design and code reviews. Support and mentor functional colleagues on what is and is not feasible within the platform, and act as a technical point of contact for customer stakeholders.
What We’re Looking For
Solid commercial experience as a NetSuite Developer or Technical Consultant, with strong SuiteScript 2.x and SDF skills and a track record of delivering customisations end‑to‑end. Working knowledge of SuiteFlow, Saved Searches, SuiteAnalytics, SuiteTalk and the wider SuiteCloud Platform. Comfortable integrating NetSuite with third‑party systems and reasoning about authentication, error handling and idempotency in production integrations. JavaScript fluency, an appreciation for clean code and source control, and the curiosity to keep up with each NetSuite release. Consulting‑grade communication skills — able to run a workshop, write a technical spec and explain trade‑offs to non‑technical stakeholders. NetSuite SuiteFoundation and SuiteCloud Developer certifications, or evidence of working towards them, are welcome but not essential.
What’s On Offer
A genuinely interesting roadmap of NetSuite work without the conveyor‑belt feel of larger consultancies, alongside a competitive base, performance bonus, pension, private healthcare, certification budget and a hybrid working pattern built around delivery, not presenteeism. Exposure to a broad mix of customers and industries means rapid skills growth, and there is a clear technical progression path through to Senior, Lead and Solution Architect.
