Job Title
Digital Consultant
Responsibilities
- Working with clients to understand their business objectives, challenges, and opportunities, helping them to navigate the digital era
- Support the development and building of client relationships through client-facing project work, collaboration workshops, pitches and showcases of digital offerings
- Exploiting data and technologies to enable the client to coordinate activities and realise value from their assets
- Conduct assessments of current digital processes and capabilities across the relevant functions and asset classes within the client organisation
- Identify and prioritise digital initiatives that deliver maximum value and impact
- Support the development and implementation of robust Information Management practices to ensure project data is structured, governed, and leveraged effectively across client organisations
- Apply effective Change Management principles to guide teams through digital adoption, ensuring smooth transitions and sustained engagement across projects
- Support the design and implementation of appropriate information security controls
- Project management support of consultancy commissions, including cost, risk & schedule
- Leading client workshops using known methods e.g. Design Thinking, and facilitation tools e.g. Miro
- Connecting with the Work Winning community and Client Account Managers on consultancy leads and tender opportunities and supporting wider strategic bids
- Supporting pre-qualification, tender responses, proposals and case studies
- Promoting and supporting development of digital service offerings internally
- Creating, showcasing case studies and thought leadership
- Commoditizing consultancy deliverables as repeatable offerings
- Lessons learned – feeding knowledge from commissions back into the business to support future growth and opportunities
- Supporting research on digital innovation – new technologies, processes, and start-ups to identify opportunities
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure successful implementation of digital solutions
Qualifications
- Demonstrated ability to support delivery of strategic consultancy commissions
- Demonstrated ability to combine Asset Management, Project Management, Information Management and data skills to deliver digital projects in the infrastructure sector
- Experience in working with technical and non technical analytics teams
- Experience of influencing non-technical executive stakeholders from around the business
- Experience in supporting business development, customer acquisition and retention
