As a Senior Consultant Data Scientist – Predictive Analytics, you will play a crucial role in driving success through your expertise in data analytics and predictive modelling. By applying your skills in causal inference, experimentation, and econometrics, you will help our clients unlock valuable insights and make data‑driven decisions that transform their businesses.
You Will
- Utilize advanced statistical and mathematical models to analyze complex data and uncover meaningful patterns and trends.
- Design and implement robust experimentation and A/B testing frameworks to evaluate the impact of client initiatives.
- Collaborate cross‑functionally with business stakeholders to understand their challenges and translate data insights into practical solutions.
- Develop data pipelines and analytical workflows using SQL, Python, and other relevant technologies.
- Effectively communicate your findings and recommendations to both technical and non‑technical audiences.
- Continually expand your knowledge and stay up‑to‑date with the latest advancements in the field of data science and predictive analytics.
Ideally We’d Like
- A bachelor’s or master’s degree in a quantitative field such as Statistics, Economics, or Computer Science.
- Extensive experience in applied data science, with a strong background in causal inference, regression modelling, and difference‑in‑differences analysis.
- Proficiency in SQL and Python (or R) for data manipulation, analysis, and model development.
- Proven track record of successfully delivering data‑driven projects and translating insights into actionable business recommendations.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with both technical and non‑technical teams.
- A self‑motivated, adaptable, and problem‑solving mindset, with a genuine passion for driving positive change through data‑driven solutions.
Contract & Location
This is an initial 3‑6 month contract that requires onsite working in London 2‑3 days per week.
Requirements
Applicants must be authorized to work in the United Kingdom, without the need for visa sponsorship by North Highland. Work visa sponsorship will not be provided, either now or in the future, for this position. This is a temporary employee (PAYE) opportunity working via an Umbrella company.
