The UCL Cancer Institute is the hub for cancer research at University College London, one of the world’s leading universities. The Institute brings together more than 400 scientists who translate research discoveries into therapies for cancer patients, facilitated by extensive collaboration with our partner hospital UCLH and the UCLH Biomedical Research Centre.
Within the Department of Cancer Biology and Pathology, researchers investigate the molecular mechanisms and disease processes underlying cancer development and treatment. Our expertise spans genomics, cell biology, digital medicine, and close collaboration between clinical and non‑clinical colleagues.
About the role
We are seeking an exceptional Senior Research Fellow to lead innovative work at the intersection of digital pathology, artificial intelligence, and real‑world clinical data.
This unique opportunity allows you to develop an independent research programme focused on applying machine learning to digital pathology data and integrating it with electronic health records to drive new insights in cancer biology and patient care.
You will work within a highly collaborative environment – including partnership with UCL Hospital – to translate data into real clinical impact.
