Software Engineer

We’re supporting a major public sector programme delivering modern digital services and are looking for an experienced SC Cleared Lead Software Developer to join the team on a contract basis.

Required Experience

• Active SC Clearance.
• Strong frontend development experience using React.
• Hands‑on cloud experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Experience working within public sector or regulated environments is highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of scalable full stack applications within secure public sector environments.
• Build and maintain frontend applications using React.
• Develop backend services and APIs using Node.js.
• Work across cloud-native environments using AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Collaborate closely with architects, delivery teams, and stakeholders to deliver high‑quality solutions.
• Support technical direction, mentoring, and code quality across the development team.
