Accounts Senior – Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and finalise year‑end accounts for a range of clients
• Complete VAT returns in a timely and accurate manner
• Perform bookkeeping duties as required
• Identify areas of improvement in client financial systems and processes
• Liaise directly with clients to resolve queries and build relationships
• Support and review the work of junior staff to ensure quality and accuracy

What We’re Looking For in an Accounts Senior

• ACCA/ACA qualified or part qualified (QBE will also be considered)
• A minimum of 3 years of UK practice experience is essential
• Previous experience in an Accounts Senior role
• Proficiency in cloud accounting software such as Xero and QuickBooks
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent time management and the ability to manage a busy portfolio of clients
