Trainee Support Analyst – Ripon (Hybrid Working)

Responsibilities

  • Act as the first point of contact for IT support via phone, self‑service and live chat
  • Deliver excellent customer service to colleagues across the business
  • Manage and resolve IT queries while maintaining high customer experience standards
  • Support key ITIL processes and assist with major or sensitive incidents
  • Contribute to IT projects and wider Service Desk initiatives as required

This is a permanent position working 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 8 am – 5 pm.

Qualifications

  • A keen interest in starting or progressing a career in IT support
  • Strong communication skills with a customer‑focused approach
  • Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and manage multiple tasks
  • Willingness to learn and develop with guidance from experienced team members
  • Previous Service Desk experience (or transferable skills) is advantageous but not essential
