An exciting opportunity to become part of the dynamic team at Milton Keynes University Hospital NHS Foundation Trust as a Community Midwifery Team Leader.
Responsibilities
- Provide antenatal and postnatal care to a caseload of service users in the community.
- Lead and support community midwives and maternity support workers.
- Participate in the home birth on‑call rota.
- Develop and implement clinical guidelines and processes for community care.
- Lead clinical audit and educational support for healthcare professionals and students.
- Collect and analyse data, ensuring compliance with local and national requirements.
- Engage with inter‑agency teams to enhance care for service users.
Qualifications
- Clinical experience in all aspects of midwifery care.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Demonstrated credibility as a role model.
- Ability to develop guidelines, standards and robust data collection.
