Job Description: Our client is seeking a confident and personable Small Animal Vet Surgeon to step into a sole-charge general practice role within a long-established community setting. The role is primarily consult-focused, supported by minor surgical work and appropriate triage of urgent cases. Responsibilities
- Managing first-opinion consultations with clear diagnostic planning
- Undertaking minor surgical procedures within clinical competence
- Maintaining accurate and thorough medical records
- Making appropriate referral decisions when cases require escalation
- Supporting smooth daily practice operations alongside nursing colleagues
Qualifications
- RCVS registration or eligibility to register in the UK
- Previous experience within small animal general practice
- Confidence working in a sole-charge environment
- Strong communication and client-care skills
- A reliable and well-organised clinical approach
