Vascular Nurse – Private Clinic Bank Shifts – Manchester/ Various

Job Summary

At the UKVein Clinic we are looking for a vascular nurse to join our team and help deliver varicose vein treatments to patients nationwide.

The position is a private clinic bank shift role based in Manchester and various locations across the UK. The successful candidate will report to the Lead Vascular Nurse.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform all safety checks before a clinic starts, including cleaning the room before, during and after treatment.
• Work in collaboration with another nurse and support the consultant with patient treatment.
• Provide a warm and welcoming environment for patients at the clinic, keeping them talking throughout the appointment, ensuring they feel safe and reassured.
• Ensure the patient understands how to get the best results after treatment, including information about aftercare and available support.
• Work as a team to adhere to CQC regulations at all times.
• Attend clinical specialty meetings to discuss the care pathway, training, or any required support.

Required Qualifications / Screenings and Skills

• Nurse registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) with at least 1 year post‑qualification experience.
• Up‑to‑date mandatory training.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Attention to detail and strong problem‑solving abilities.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Preferred (but not essential)

• Previous experience in private practice.
• Understanding and knowledge of venous disease and conditions.
