Job Overview

Location: Hull

Salary & Benefits: £43,000 – £48,000, Pension (up to 10% matched), Health Scheme.

Shift pattern: Full‑time, 4 on 4 off, 12‑hour day shifts 6:00 am‑6:00 pm.

Responsibilities

• Mechanically repair and maintain all plant and equipment to keep downtime to a minimum.
• Assist in investigating and diagnosing breakdowns and repair problems.
• Undertake repair and refurbishing of plant and equipment according to planned maintenance and in breakdown situations.
• Maintain and set up plant and equipment on site.
• Assist with installation of new plant and equipment, gaining a sound working knowledge of plant, equipment and processes.
• Record all activities – time spent, materials and spares used – on the CMMS.
• Coordinate with contractors and third parties to source and manufacture parts needed for maintenance and process improvement.
• Work with machine manufacturers to assist in fault diagnosis and parts identification for optimal plant performance.

Requirements

• Engineering apprenticeship.
• Previous experience as a Multi‑Skilled Engineer / Technician in a manufacturing environment, preferably a fast‑moving sector such as food / packaging.
• Multi‑Skilled background with Electrical qualifications preferred.
