A leading engineering business operating within the industrial air filtration and dust extraction sector is seeking a Service Engineer to join its growing UK team.
This is a field‑based role supporting customers across a range of industrial and manufacturing environments, carrying out service, maintenance, fault finding, inspections and commissioning activities on dust and fume extraction equipment.
The position offers excellent long‑term career prospects, a supportive team environment and the opportunity to work on a wide variety of industrial extraction and filtration systems.
The Role
- Service, maintain and fault‑find on industrial dust and fume extraction systems
- Carry out inspections, repairs and preventative maintenance activities
- Support commissioning and installation projects when required
- Complete service documentation and customer reports accurately
- Provide a professional and customer‑focused service at all times
- Work closely with colleagues across the wider engineering team
- Ensure all work is completed safely and in line with company procedures
- Travel to customer sites throughout the UK
- Flexible field‑based position with occasional weekend work and overnight stays; average of ~2 nights away per week, variable by workload
Candidate Requirements
- Previous experience as a Service Engineer, Field Service Engineer or Maintenance Engineer
- Strong mechanical and/or electrical fault‑finding skills
- Experience working within industrial environments
- Customer‑facing experience and excellent communication skills
- Comfortable working independently and managing workload effectively
- IT confident and able to complete service reports and documentation
- Full UK driving licence

- Dust extraction experience
- LEV experience
- Industrial filtration experience
- P601 qualification
- P602 qualification
- HVAC, ventilation, compressed air or similar industrial service background
