About the Role

Our client, a chemicals management firm, seeks an Instrumentation and Control Engineer to join their technical team in London.

Responsibilities

• Lead or oversee engineering projects and systems such as SCADA, PLCs, and industrial networks.
• Manage end-to-end projects including site surveys, commissioning, troubleshooting, and supervising contractor projects.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and optimize production efficiency.
• Handle projects ranging from £20k to £2-3m CAPEX and lead multiple projects simultaneously.
• Participate in asset integrity maintenance, upgrades, or replacements to enhance sustainability and engage in mechanical and electrical projects on the process plant.

Qualifications

• Demonstrable background in project management, specifically instrumentation, control and automation (IT/OT) projects.
• Background in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical or Civil).
• Experience with the APM stage gate process.
• Good understanding of Health and Safety standards.
