Maintenance Engineer

An urgent job as a Maintenance Engineer has arisen in Great Yarmouth, Norfolk for a company that specializes in the design and manufacture of micro‑electronic assemblies for the defence and aerospace sectors. You will be working in a fast‑paced environment to carry out machine maintenance, fault finding, diagnosis and repair of complex electro‑mechanical, optical and control equipment. The company offers a 9‑day working fortnight, flexitime and assistance with relocation costs of up to £8,000.

Responsibilities

• Carry out routine preventive maintenance on a variety of industrial laser systems.
• Support installation, commissioning, calibration and validation activities.
• Carry out inspection and testing of electrical equipment.
• Fault find, diagnose and repair complex electro‑mechanical, optical and control equipment.

Qualifications

• HNC in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or equivalent qualification.
• City & Guilds Level 2/3 for the Inspection & Testing of Electrical Equipment.
• PAT testing qualification and practical experience.
