Location: Dartford, Kent

Salary: £50,000 – £62,000 Basic

Benefits: Company Car, Fuel Card, 28 Days Holiday, Pension

Hours: Full Time. 08:00am – 17:00pm

About the Business

An established M&E contractor specialising in commercial and industrial design & build projects. A significant portion of our work is within the film and TV production sector, where we are proud to collaborate with a number of high-profile clients.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Developing and delivering electrical projects, ensuring completion on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards
• Managing the preparation of project plans, risk assessments, and health and safety documentation
• Developing and overseeing project budgets, including cost control and forecasting
• Liaising with clients, contractors, and stakeholders to support effective project delivery
• Planning and monitoring project resources, including labour, materials, and equipment
• Leading and mentoring project teams
• Identifying and analysing project issues, and implementing solutions to support successful outcomes
• Managing electrical projects from concept through to completion
• Producing project plans and ensuring work is completed within agreed timescales
• Managing budgets, resources, and personnel to meet time and cost constraints
• Ensuring compliance with safety regulations and relevant industry standards
• Monitoring project progress and providing regular updates
• Reporting on project performance to senior management

Essential Criteria

• ECS 18th Edition Gold Card
• Full UK driving licence and access to own vehicle
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with clients, suppliers, and colleagues
• Proven background in commercial and industrial electrical installation, including electrical control systems
• Ability to interpret electrical specifications, schematics, drawings, block cable diagrams, BoQs, and BoMs
• Good understanding of electrical standards
• Ability to prepare tender submissions and complete PQQs to a high standard
• High level of attention to detail, with strong commercial awareness and understanding of project costs
• Excellent IT skills, with a high level of proficiency in Microsoft Office
