Graduate Surface Water Management Consultant

Graduate Surface Water Consultant – Birmingham, UK.

Working alongside an experienced team you will get involved with a vast array of development projects.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with the production of environmental management plans including Pollution Prevention and Surface Water Management Plans for construction sites
• Auditing construction sites for compliance with Surface Water Management Plans
• Advising clients on meeting UK regulatory requirements for Surface Water Management and associated waste permits/exemptions
• Liaison with regulators including the Environment Agency/ National Resources Wales
• Response / management of environmental incidents, including fuel/oil spillage, silt discharges, and effluent discharges
• Advice and on-site training of clients on issues including ecology, contamination and waste management
• Assisting with the production of quotations/tenders for new projects
• Assisting with the management of clients and projects

Person specification

• There is a range of opportunities for individuals with between 0 and 2 years post graduate experience in the environmental sector.
• Full UK driving licence
