Are you an experienced HR Advisorlooking for their next opportunity or an established HR Advisor?

As aSenior HR Advisor, you will partner with specific assigned business areas inboth a strategic and hands-on role to provide full cycle HR support.

Asan HR Generalist, you will be confident with identifying the organisational andpeople priorities, adopting a responsive and solution focused approach anddelivering best practice support. Youwill establish yourself as a trusted advisor within the business.

Youwill partner with managers on all their people related matters, includingrecruitment, employee relations, culture and engagement, internalcommunication, organisation, performance management and talent development.

This will be an exciting position well-suited tosomeone who is confident with all HR disciplines and who can bring anoperational and solutions focused approach. Thisrole is critical in executing our HR initiatives, providing great internalcustomer support, and driving HR functional excellence and process improvement.

Main duties of the job

  • You willdevelop effective relationships with key stakeholders across your businessareas, partnering with them, providing solution focused outcomes, andsupporting them with people matters.
  • You will complement the existing HR Team indelivering an efficient and effective value-added service to the business whichincludes systemised and standardised HR systems and processes for; but notlimited to, providing a high-quality service including; Recruitment andSelection, Performance development, People management, Policy and Practices,Professional registration, Education, coaching, training and development, absencemanagement, workforce health and wellbeing and payroll.
  • This is very much a hands-on role where you will beguiding and supporting managers with solutions and providing them withstep-by-step advice as appropriate.
  • Provide input to team projects when and whererequired and work across the partnership to ensure that the key HR bestpractices remain coordinated and delivered in a professional and timely manner.
  • The post holder will work in conjunction with the HR Manager and the widerteam in the delivery of the agreed HR Plan by always providing a high-qualityservice.

Youwill work alongside your like-minded colleagues within the HR Team, who are alldedicated to delivering against our core KPIs and seeing the success of ourpeople and in turn our patient services.

Job responsibilities

To provide HR guidanceand operational advice to staff and managers across the organisation on a rangeof matters including workforce planning, terms & conditions, absence andattendance, discipline, grievance, harassment and bullying and organisationalchange; ensuring consistent application of employment law and reaching businessfocussed solutions. To provide a comprehensive, high-quality service focussingsignificantly on supporting line managers in the managing of disciplinaries andgrievances and coaching managers and employees through these processes.

Qualifications

  • Educated to a minimum of CIPD Level 3
  • Knowledge of current employment legislation
  • Associated CIPD member
  • Evidence of continued professional development

Experience

  • Previous exposure to operational HR work across a multi sited business (i.e., sickness absence meetings, investigations, people management, change processes 1:1 staff meetings)
  • Experience or delivering a high-quality HR support service across multiple sites or departments
  • Experience of planning and organisation
  • Evidence of commitment to Equality and Diversity values and principles in the delivery of all aspects of the role
  • Evidence of being an ambassador and role-model for corporate values and behaviours
  • Previous workforce planning and involvement in recruitment best practices
  • Experience of writing legally compliant communications e.g., invite and outcome letters
  • Previous experience of developing and delivery of training workshops to line managers
  • Experience of payroll processes and administration
