nnRole Summary:
nnSheen Lane London is a privately owned property development company based in Richmond. Since our formation in 2013, Sheen Lane has delivered over 3,100 residential units and over 140,000 sq ft of commercial space across over 50 mixed use schemes across London and the Southeast, with a combined Gross Development Value in excess of £1.1 billion. The role will have one direct report and lead finance within a wider team of 20 staff and will report to the Director and founder of the business. The group currently manages 15 operating and investment companies, with each new property development held in a unique SPV.
nnResponsibilities:
nnThis is a broad remit, with responsibilities ranging from debt and equity raising and overseeing capital market transactions to ensuring the smooth running of regular reporting and Accounts Payable processes. Main responsibilities include:

- Capital & Funding: Act as the primary lead for institutional capital partners, manage lender relationships, and secure debt/equity for development projects and investments. nt
- Deal Execution: Oversee all financial, tax, and corporate due diligence for property acquisitions, disposals, and SPV transactions. nt
- Financial Control: Lead group financial reporting, quarterly management accounts, annual audits, and rigorous cash flow forecasting. nt
- Tax & Compliance: Manage corporate and shareholder tax planning, VAT/CIS compliance, and group corporate secretarial duties. nt
- Team Leadership: Supervise internal accounting, payroll, and bookkeeping functions to ensure robust internal financial controls. n

nnCandidate Requirements:
nn- nt
- Several years’ experience in a senior finance role, ideally in the real estate industry and development in particular nt
- ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent qualification nt
- Personable and professional, with the ability to interact directly with a variety of internal and external stakeholders, including senior management and financial institutions nt
- Able to manage multiple tasks and conflicting priorities nt
- Attention to detail and thorough self-review nt
- Comfortable working within a tight-knit team and prepared to assist on a wide variety of tasks nt
- Confident working without close supervision as required nt
- Prior experience working with institutional capital and lenders, with having raised equity and debt being an advantage n
