Counterbalance Forklift Driver – Sunderland
An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Counterbalance Forklift Driver to join a well-established operation in Sunderland. This is a long-term role with no fixed end date, offering stability and the potential to secure a permanent contract.
The Offer
- £13.50 per hour
- Monday to Friday
- 07:00 – 15:00 shifts
- Ongoing position with long-term security
- Permanent opportunity for the right candidate
The Role
You will be responsible for operating a Counterbalance Forklift Truck and supporting site operations. Duties will also include assisting with the filling, diluting and blending of chemicals, working within a structured and safety-focused environment.
The role is not highly physical but does require standing for periods of time while working in full PPE.
Requirements
- Valid Counterbalance FLT licence
- Strong understanding of health and safety practices
- Good literacy and numeracy skills
- Previous experience in a similar environment preferred
- Ideally experience handling chemicals
