Overview

I’m partnering with a rapidly growing food business that is transforming how products move through the foodservice supply chain. Following significant growth, they are looking to hire a Senior Planning Manager to take ownership of forecasting, inventory, supplier performance and operational planning across the business.

About the Role

Reporting into the Director of Operations, this role will sit at the heart of the business, key responsibilities include:

  • Lead the end-to-end demand and supply planning process across multiple product categories
  • Own forecasting and inventory planning, working closely with commercial teams to understand demand changes and customer requirements
  • Manage supplier performance, monitoring service levels, stock availability and operational KPIs
  • Act as the key point of contact for warehouse and logistics partners, resolving supply issues and driving improvements
  • Manage and develop a junior planner, building capability within the planning function

Your Experience

  • 4+ years’ experience within demand planning, supply planning, inventory planning or materials planning
  • Background within FMCG, food, foodservice, consumer goods or another fast-paced supply chain environment
  • Strong forecasting, inventory management and analytical skills
  • Experience operating within a growing or entrepreneurial business would be highly advantageous
