Your Role

  • You will support the Head of IT in developing and maintaining the IT strategy and deputise when required.
  • You will design, architect and deliver secure and cost‑effective technology solutions aligned to business needs.
  • You will manage IT infrastructure, platforms, connectivity and cloud services to ensure availability, performance and security.
  • You will act as project manager and change manager, ensuring best practice delivery and excellent customer experience.
  • You will manage third‑party suppliers and service partners to ensure value, security and contractual compliance.
  • You are responsible for major incident, disaster recovery, vulnerability management and continual service improvement.

What We’re Looking For

  • Qualifications: ITIL awareness, Microsoft certification, strong technical expertise and project management experience or qualification.
  • Experience: Engaging stakeholders in technology change, delivering IT platforms with measurable business benefit, and providing technical delivery and support across infrastructure, service and security.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, a customer‑focused mindset, strong planning and problem‑solving ability, a strong team player, comfortable with motivating and delivering through others.

Experience & Knowledge

  • Successful delivery of significant technology adoption and change initiatives.
  • Implementation of IT platforms and tools delivering clear customer and business benefit.
  • Strong technical delivery and support experience across infrastructure, service management and security.

Desirable

  • Degree or equivalent in a computing, engineering, mathematics or business‑related discipline.
  • Knowledge of information security, audit and IT service management.

Additional Skills

  • Strong leadership capability with the ability to inspire and motivate others.
  • Excellent supplier and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to anticipate risks, mitigate negative user impact and drive continual improvement.
