My client is a leading global freight forwarder seeking a driven, detail-oriented professional to join their busy international logistics team. In this role, you will take full ownership of deep-sea export shipments from booking right through to final delivery, ensuring absolute compliance and world-class customer service along the way.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• End-to-End Coordination: Manage the daily execution of ocean export files (FCL & LCL) from initial booking to delivery.
• Documentation & Customs: Prepare and process crucial shipping documentation, including Bills of Lading, certificates of origin, shipping instructions, and customs declarations.
• Carrier & Agent Liaison: Negotiate spot rates and coordinate closely with shipping lines, hauliers, overseas agents, and customs brokers.
• Client Relationship Management: Act as the primary point of contact for key accounts, providing real-time tracking updates, proactive problem-solving, and resolving operational issues smoothly.
• Financial Integrity: Complete job costing, ensure all accurate billing is processed, and maximize file profitability.

What We Are Looking For:

• Experience: Proven experience working in Ocean Export Operations within a freight forwarding environment is essential.
• Technical Knowledge: A strong grasp of deep-sea shipping documentation, Incoterms, and customs procedures.
• System Savvy: Experience using freight management software (e.g., CargoWise One or similar) is highly desirable.
• Mindset: An analytical problem-solver who thrives under pressure in a fast-paced environment and possesses strong attention to detail.
• Communication: Excellent communication skills to effectively manage relationships with internal teams, external partners, and global clients.
