Apply for the Support Worker in Education
Location: Guildford
Job Description:

Read this if you are tired of working retail, hospitality, or customer service…

If you currently work in a customer-facing role, you already have 90% of the skills needed to be a great Learning Support Worker.

Think about it:

  • Are you great at diffusing difficult situations with angry customers? That’s called crisis management and resilience.
  • Are you on your feet all day keeping people happy? That’s energy and person-centred support.
  • Are you tired of working split shifts, weekends, and missing Christmas? That’s where we come in.

We are looking for people with great life skills to support autistic adults in Cranleigh. You’ll help them learn new skills, get out into the local community, and live independently.

The Trade-Off:

What you give us:

  • Your patience, empathy, and positive attitude.
  • Comfort with helping with personal care (dressing/toileting).
  • A calm head when handling challenging behaviours.
  • A clean background check (Enhanced DBS required).

What we give you:

  • Mon-Fri, 9am-5pm hours (No weekends/evenings).
  • Guaranteed Christmas closure to be with family.
  • Full professional training and certificates.
  • 25 days holiday + Bank Holidays.

You don’t need a background in healthcare or education. If you have the right mindset, we want you.

Skip the CV upload. Just call or email Paul for a quick, informal chat about how your skills transfer.
