Location: Scunthorpe

Hours: Approx 40 hrs/week Mon-Fri plus possibility of overtime

Start Dates: 18.05

Duration: 6 month rolling contract

PAYE Pay Rates:

• Basic Days: £20.91/hr + £2.52/hr Holiday Pay
• Overtime 1: £29.27
• Overtime 2: £37.64

The Role

Our client has a requirement for Plater for ongoing maintenance on British Steel Scunthorpe. Duties will include:

• Using oxyacetylene burning equipment to remove sections of plate
• Setting out, marking and cutting steel plate
• Repairing heat distorted steel plate
• Plate, pipe, channel and bracket repairs
• MMA welding on mild steel plate

Essential Requirements

• CCNSG card
• NVQ 3 / City & Guilds qualification
• Experience of working on large industrial sites (cement, power, refinery, steel)
