Enhanced Learning Support Assistant – Level 3

Salary

£26,403 – £27,254 per annum pro rata

Hours

37 hours per week, term time, plus 11 additional days (8:30‑16:30 Mon, 8:00‑16:00 Tue‑Thu, 8:00‑15:30 Fri)

Start Date

Required from September 2026

Responsibilities

• Support students, especially those with SEND, throughout the school.
• Lead the new language and communication support programme.
• Engage with students and support them in overcoming a range of learning difficulties.
• Support the Catholic/Christian ethos at St Mary’s in this role.

Qualifications & Requirements

• English to GCSE or equivalent.
• Enthusiasm for working with young people.
• Subject to an enhanced DBS check and an online search for shortlisted candidates.
• Full training and support will be provided.
