Personal Assistant/Support Worker for young adult

Pay: £13.00 per hour

Contract: Permanent

Hours: 6 hours per week (Fridays, 9am–3pm)

Responsibilities

• Provide one‑to‑one support while the young adult is on placement in a bakery environment.
• Help the young adult stay on track with the tasks at hand.
• Use the young adult’s interest in video games (Formula 1 and golf) to facilitate communication and emotional expression.
• Ensure no transportation or travel with the care recipient is required; the recipient is met at the placement location and later picked up by a family member.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Interest in or knowledge of gaming is helpful but not essential.
• Subject to an enhanced DBS check and references.
• No traveling required for the role.

Additional Information

Key responsibilities include supporting social and leisure activities, and ensuring the young adult receives appropriate support during placement.
