Position: Support Worker

Location: 1 William Street, Fenton, Stoke-On-Trent ST4 2JG

Contract: Permanent

Hours: 35 hours per week

At William Street we provide a diverse range of care to individuals with learning and physical disabilities along with safety, security and reassurance. Our vibrant communities thrive on connection and joy, offering activities tailored to what our residents love most. Here at William Street, rated ‘Good’ by CQC, we offer community access such as visits to cafes and lunches out, day trips, bingo, exercise classes in the local community centre and internal exercise sessions. We support up to 6 individuals, both males and females, with everyday support including personal care, meal time support, medicine administration, managing finances and budgeting, specified SALT recommended diets, supermarket shopping and special visits.

Responsibilities

  • Provide personal care and support to up to six service users, ensuring dignity and respect.
  • Assist with meal time support, medication administration and dietary requirements.
  • Help with budgeting, managing finances and organising supermarket shopping.
  • Plan and support day trips, community activities and internal exercise sessions.
  • Maintain a safe, secure and reassuring environment for all residents.
  • Actively support individuals with their learning and physical disabilities.
