Site Maintenance Assistant – Hands-On Role!

Shifts: Monday to Friday 7:00am – 4:00pm. Temp to Perm after 12 weeks.

Location: Hilton, South Derbyshire.

Hourly Rate: £17.50 per hour.

Full-time – consistent weekday hours

Looking for a practical, varied role where you can put your mechanical skills to good use? We’re working with a well-established site in Hilton to recruit a reliable Maintenance Assistant to support day‑to‑day operations and upkeep across the facility.

If you’ve got a mechanical background and some electrical knowledge, this could be a great fit for you!

What You’ll Be Doing

• Assisting with general site maintenance and upkeep
• Supporting mechanical repairs and adjustments
• Carrying out basic electrical tasks where required
• Helping ensure equipment and facilities run safely and efficiently
• Responding to maintenance issues and supporting preventative work
• Working as part of a team to keep the site running smoothly

What We’re Looking For

• Some form of mechanical background (essential)
• Basic electrical knowledge (preferred)
• A practical, hands‑on approach and willingness to learn
• Good problem‑solving skills and attention to detail
• Reliable, punctual and a strong team player
