Position

Support Worker (Permanent) – Highwater House residential care home for 22 adults with mental health and substance misuse issues.

Responsibilities

Duties will include medication administration, care planning, escorting residents to appointments, planning and implementing activities, providing personal care, and attending meetings with other professionals.

Shift work includes evenings, weekends, and sleep‑in duties, 32 hours per week.

Qualifications

  • Supportive and empathise with clients with complex needs.
  • Ability to manage time effectively, possess good organisational skills, and work within a team.
  • Practically demonstrate caring, kind, empathic, patient, and knowledge of basic principles of care.

Employment Details

Salary range: £27,274‑£29,070 (full time equivalent). Sleep‑in rate: £44.54.
