PDI Technician

Job Overview

At Marshall Grimsby, we are offering an exciting opportunity for a skilled and qualified PDI Technician to join our high‑performing Aftersales team.

LOCATION: Marshall GrimsbyDEPARTMENT: Service

Whether you’re already an expert or developing your craft, we’ll support your growth with state‑of‑the‑art facilities, a friendly team and manufacturer training that keeps you on top of your game. The position is full time, 45 hours per week, including weekends on a rota basis.

Responsibilities

• You’ll carry out Pre Delivery Inspections on both fleet and customer vehicles.
• You’ll handle vehicle maintenance tasks like oil and filter changes, supported by digital write‑ups and job card completion.
• You’ll ensure every vehicle that you work on is fully compliant and safe, ready for customer delivery.

Qualifications

• Recognised Level 2 or 3 Light Vehicle Maintenance qualification (IMI, City & Guilds or equivalent). If Level 2, opportunities to become Level 3 accredited.
• Previous experience as a Technician/Mechanic, ideally with exposure to PDIs and basic service work, from any background.
• Strong teamwork skills, follows process and upholds high standards of safety and quality.
• Tech‑savvy and confident using iPads and digital workshop systems.
• Eager to learn, as the role will test you, but also help you develop and progress within your Mechanic career with our manufacturer accreditation training.
