Position Overview
We are looking for an Assistant Chef to support our catering team at PGL adventure camps. The role will help fuel children for adventure by preparing high quality, nutritious meals in a busy kitchen environment.
Compensation & Contract
Earn £13.89 per hour (our pay system is benchmarked and fair).
Full‑Time Fixed Term Contract until 31/10/2026.
Accommodation and meal packages available (optional) at a generous rate with zero charge for bills or utilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve tasty, high quality and nutritious meals to guests.
- Maintain an efficient, clean and safe kitchen environment.
- Support team members and assist with food preparation as needed.
- Work without late nights, guaranteeing a Friday or Saturday evening off each week during non‑peak periods.
Required Qualifications
- Able to demonstrate energy, drive and determination.
- Enjoys the buzz of a busy kitchen in a fun and friendly team.
- Personable with excellent communication skills.
- Excellent food safety, hygiene and dietary knowledge.
