Long-Term Teaching Assistant – Morpeth, Northumberland

We are currently working with a welcoming primary school close to Morpeth, Northumberland, who are seeking a Level 3 qualified Teaching Assistant for a long-term role.

Role details:

• Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:30 – 15:20
• Duration: Long-term / ongoing
• Setting: Primary school

Key responsibilities:

• Providing 1:1 SEN support to pupils who require additional assistance
• Supporting the class teacher with day-to-day classroom activities
• Helping to create a positive, inclusive, and engaging learning environment
• Assisting with learning interventions and behaviour support where required

The ideal candidate will have:

• Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (essential)
• Experience working in a primary school setting
• Confidence supporting pupils with SEN, including 1:1 work
• A calm, patient, and proactive approach
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
