Remedy Education are currently recruiting for a vibrant and experienced SEN Teacher to join a supportive school for a one-term cover role working within KS2.
This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a small, supportive class environment, making a real impact on pupils with additional needs.
The Role
As an SEN Teacher, you will:
- Teach a KS2 class with a maximum of 6 pupils with mixed abilities
- Deliver engaging, differentiated lessons tailored to individual needs
- Create a hands-on, interactive learning environment, incorporating play and practical activities
- Support pupils with a range of SEN needs including ASD, ADHD and learning difficulties
- Work closely with support staff to ensure pupils are fully supported
- Promote positive behaviour, engagement and independence
Requirements
The ideal candidate will have:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- At least 2 years’ experience working with SEN pupils
- Experience working within small groups or specialist settings
- A proactive, hands-on approach and willingness to fully engage in all aspects of school life
- Strong behaviour management and communication skills
- A genuine passion for supporting pupils with additional needs
