Overview

Room Attendant, Malmaison — £13.01 per hour • 16 hours per week • Permanent contract • Dundee

Working as part of the Housekeeping team you will ensure all guest bedrooms within the hotel are cleaned on a daily basis to the highest standards. You will have an eye for detail and naturally high standards to meet our guests’ expectations of a perfect night’s stay.

Responsibilities

• Interact with guests; conversational English is essential and the ability to work on your own for periods of time.
• Ensure all bedrooms are clean and tidy for guests’ arrival and continued stays.
• Work as part of the Housekeeping team to maintain high cleanliness standards.

Requirements / Qualifications

• Conversational English is essential.
• Ability to work independently for periods of time.
• Fitness to perform hard physical work.
• Full training in the use of chemicals and equipment will be provided.
• Experience in a similar role isn’t required, but a positive attitude and desire to make a difference within the hotel is essential.

Additional information

• We actively encourage internal development and progression; Malmaison is targeting 100 new apprentices by year end. Candidates for this position would be given the opportunity to enroll on our apprenticeship scheme after completing probation.
