Position: HGV Class 1 (C+E) Night Driver
Shift Start Time: 17:30
Shift Length: Until finish (typically 8–10 hours)
Pay Rate: £20.58 per hour

The Role

We are looking for experienced HGV Class 1 Night Drivers for ongoing work based in Basingstoke (RG24). You will be operating curtainside trailers, transporting goods safely and efficiently during night shifts. This is a great opportunity for drivers seeking regular night work with competitive pay.

Responsibilities

• Drive Class 1 (C+E) vehicles on scheduled night routes
• Operate curtainside trailers safely and efficiently
• Complete vehicle checks before and after each shift
• Ensure all deliveries and collections are accurate and on time
• Secure loads correctly and comply with transport legislation
• Complete all relevant paperwork and digital records
• Follow company health and safety procedures at all times

Requirements

• Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence
• Minimum 6 months driving experience on Class 1 vehicles
• Valid Driver CPC qualification
• Digital Tachograph Card
• Good understanding of drivers’ hours and working time regulations
• Previous curtainside experience preferred
• Reliable, professional, and safety-conscious attitude
• Good communication skills
